Financial Policy

Medics At Home Financial Policy

We are committed to your successful recovery.  In addition to your medical treatment we offer the courtesy of filing to your insurance company for you, to help alleviate any confusion or headache that can occur from this tedious responsibility.   The following is a statement of our Financial Policy.

Self-Pay Patients

It is our policy to notify you three (3) times of your financial responsibility.  If you have financial difficulties, please call to arrange a comfortable payment schedule.  We offer three different plans. If there is no response after the third statement,  we will proceed with further action.

Insured Patients

As a courtesy to you we file your claim provided that we have your insurance information and a signature on file.  If no signature or insurance information are on file,  you are responsible for submitting your own claim.  Please call us with your insurance information and we will file your claim.  If we do not hear from you, you will be considered to have self-pay status and will be responsible for full payment as stated above.  We encourage communication between you and your insurance company.  Even though we extend the service of filing for you, please understand the true responsibility still remains between the patient and the insurance company.  After response from insurance a statement is sent for any remaining balance.  You will receive statements according to the above guidelines for self-pay patients.

Fees for Transport and Care

Our fees are carefully determined from Federal proposed rates for this area.  Rates are determined to include the cost of medical care, continual required medical training, equipment, maintenance of equipment, vehicle expenses, and routine supplies required by the state.

Method of Payment

For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit card transactions.

Thank you for understanding our financial policy.  Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
